FiveM "Reliable network event overflow": what it means and how to avoid it

The server sends your game important messages and expects replies. If too many pile up because your connection is slow or dropped packets, FiveM disconnects you with this error.

What usually helps

1. Use a wired connection if you can, or sit close to the router.
2. Pause downloads, streams and updates while you play.
3. Turn off any VPN.
4. Restart your router if you often get disconnected.
5. Reconnect and wait a moment before opening heavy menus or spamming actions.

If it happens right after the same in-game action every time, tell staff what you did so we can look into it.
